Shipping

When will my order ship?

Orders will typically ship within 1 week. All our products are handmade in small batches to preserve quality and freshness. Sometimes we will have every item in your order in stock, and sometimes we might have to make 1 or 2 items before we ship out so this will add a few extra days to shipping time. When labels are printed, a notice is automatically sent out with your tracking number. If tracking doesn't show up right away your order is on its way, but a few days may lapse between label printing and when we take packages to the post office, as orders only ship out 2 times a week. If labels are printed at the end of the week, orders will ship out on Mondays. Domestic orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail and smaller orders are sometimes shipped USPS First Class or Priority Ground Advantage. In either case transit times should be 2-5 days. International orders may take up to 3 weeks but typically arrive much sooner. If you choose EXPRESS mail or are giving this as a gift and need it sent quickly please send us an email before placing an order! I accidentally entered the wrong address at checkout what should I do?

Please contact us IMMEDIATELY after submitting your order with your correct address so we are able to correct it. We are not responsible for orders that are shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.

My order says its been delivered, but I have not received it

We are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen. Once they have been scanned in by USPS, or UPS the package is their responsibility. If a package has been marked delivered but has not been received by you or the recipient, wait a day or two before contacting us. It typically shows up within 1-3 days. If it still hasn't arrived-it may have been stolen or lost by the shipping carrier, please contact us at orders@shopaquariansoul.com and we will give you the necessary information for you to file a claim with USPS. However, we are unable to refund products or shipping costs.

Do you offer free shipping?

We currently do not offer free shipping. As a very small company, we do the best to offer the most economical shipping options. We hand package each order with custom tape, tissue and stickers so that each of our products arrives in perfect condition. All shipping costs are based strictly on weight. If ever there should be excess shipping costs, you will receive a refund. We do offer free shipping throughout the year as part of our holiday or other sales.

Do you offer discount codes?

Yes. If you sign up for our newsletter, you will get 10% off your order. We have sales throughout the year in which we typically offer 20-30% off. You can keep up to date on these sales by following us on social media or signing up for the newsletter to be first to know!

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide. We ship USPS Priority and First Class International depending on size of package.

Are there duties or taxes on international orders?

Large orders can expect to pay duties and fees collected by the post office and retained by USPS. We do not impose these fees. The fees cover clearance from customs and are retained by the shipping carrier. Buyer is liable for paying these fees, otherwise the package will be held and subsequently returned to us. We are unable to offer refund for any shipping costs associated with these orders. Buyer is liable for inquiring any costs with returned packages.

Do you accept returns?

No, we do not currently accept returns.

What if my order arrived damaged?

We are happy to offer a replacement for your damaged items. Please contact us with a photo of the damaged item/s so we can issue a replacement.

Do you accept cancellations?

We accept cancellations within 24 hours. If you do not contact us immediately, we are unable to make any changes or cancellations.

Products

Where are your products made?

They are all made in house in our production studio right here in San Diego, CA.

Are all the products gluten free/vegan?

All our products are made with 100% natural ingredients. Everything is free of preservatives and synthetic ingredients and fragrances. 100% of our products are gluten free! While most of our products are vegan (about 95%) a few products are not. These products will be marked as vegetarian. Why are they not considered vegan? We do use beeswax in our lip balms, and salves. We are constantly looking for improvements to make our products accessible for everyone.

Are all your products cruelty-free?

YES! Our team are all vegetarian/vegans and we would NEVER test on animals or buy ingredients that were tested on animals! Unless you consider using a little salve on dry paws animal testing ;-)

Are all ingredients organic?

Everything we make is formulated with organic ingredients. All our oils, essential oils and butters are organic. Some ingredients such as beeswax cannot technically be considered organic as bees are insects that can gather pollen from plants that might not be organically grown. All ingredients that are not purchased from farms are harvested by us in our herbal medicine garden which uses organic and regenerative gardening practices. None of our ingredients are wild harvested except our alkanet root which is almost always harvested in the wild as it is prolific and plentiful in its native habitat in Europe. It is part of the borage family which grows easily and readily. All herbs are purchased from organic, ethically harvested suppliers.

Do you use beeswax?

Beeswax and honey have EXTREMELY high health benefits both for ingesting and for topical use. There are over 200 active constituents in bee pollen alone. Beeswax is unique in that it adds a protective barrier to the skin, while still allowing the skin to 'breathe' unlike synthetic additives that suffocate the skin. It helps keep the skin moisturized and helps our salves and balms harden so your salves won't melt all over the place. Beeswax is anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial which makes it great for sensitive skin, irritated skin, dry, itchy, inflamed, .....I could go on.

What is the shelf life of each product?

Most products have a shelf life of 6 months- 1 year, but can last much longer. Oils should be kept out of sun and out of hot temperatures. You can increase the shelf life by placing oils, face mist and flower essences in the fridge (plus they feel good on the skin during warmer months!) Salts will last the longest and have an extremely long shelf life. Coconut milk based products should be kept away from water. Do not store coconut rose milk bath in shower. None of our products contain preservatives of any kind so natural ingredients will deteriorate over time. When kept at stable temperatures, all products will last 6+ months.

I have sensitivity to strong fragrances. Are there any scent-free products?

We totally understand having sensitivities to scent, even if it is all natural. Many essential oils can be overwhelming to some people with extreme sensitivities to fragrance. Our New Moon Body Oil, Full Moon Body Oil and Sunstone and Citrine Body Oil are 100% fragrance free. The entire line of bath teas, and bath soaks are also 100% fragrance free. They contain only the natural scent of the actual dried herbs and flowers contained in the product. Do any products contain mica? Is it ethically sourced?

A few of our products do contain mica. The products with mica include Moonstone Highlighting Balm, Strawberry Quartz Highlighting Balm, Sunstone & Citrine Radiance Balm, Full Moon Body oil, New Moon Body Oil and Sunstone and Citrine Radiance Oil. All the mica we use is ethically sourced right here in the USA. If you want to learn more check out our ingredients page.

Are crystals safe to infuse into oils?

We have received several inquires about the safety of infusing gemstones into oil. All the crystals we use in our products are safe to use. We would never use harmful crystals or minerals inside any of our oils. Polished stones which we use in our infusions are less likely to allow liquid medium to leach any potentially hazardous materials. There are no dangerous levels of toxic ingredients in our crystals. Some crystals like amazonite contain minute particles of copper which are considered unsafe for INTERNAL ingestion like in a gem elixir which you would drink. Such small quantities of these crystals would not cause grave harm when rubbed onto the skin.

How do I care for my gemstone face roller and/or face tool?

The gemstone rollers can be quite delicate. Carefully wash with gentle soap with warm or cool water after using. Lay it on a clean towel to dry. Be careful while handling as one fall could cause it to break.

Do herbs and crystals really work to promote healing?

While we do not provide medical advice, as a certified herbalist, I work with herbs to help promote healing. Herbs have been used for centuries to relive pain, heal wounds and as tea to soothe internal ailments. Herbs can be a much safer and more natural alternative to modern medicine. Herbs have worked for people for thousands of years before modern medicine became the dominant way. Crystals are intrinsically linked to us by simply existing on this planet with us. The stars, the rocks on the earth as well as our bodies are made up of water and minerals. It is only natural to think that crystals are similar to our composition, therefore can provide healing as vibrational medicine. Each crystal has its own vibration that works with specific parts of our bodies or our mind. They can be soothing, to calm anxiety, uplifting to lift us out of depression or even energizing to revitalize us.
